I remember this place when it was just opened. They had one tinny long room with kitchen in the back. Remember telling the owner how good the pizza ... which I got in response : " we bring water from nyc to make a dough."
15 years later I moved back to Tampa Florida and trying this place all over again ! Unbelievable ! not only they have more pizza choices, options... but also bigger place , more seating, well renovated and super friendly staff . Good Job !!!!
Pizza slices are huge in my opinion but can't get enough of it .... ironic
I recommend it for those who do or dont eat pizza on regular basis. You won't regret. -

This is definitely the "go to" spot for every visitor to the Tampa Bay Area. The locals already know that the pizza, gelato, salads, garlic knots and everything else they serve is the best. I've never seen so many combinations on a pizza and I've never been disappointed. Not only is the food delicious, the staff is very friendly and welcoming.
Lunch is a very fast paced adventure but it's worth it! I definitely recommend Sam & Eddies to all -

Staff is super friendly and efficient. We came in and there was a bit of a line. However, we were able to order in less than 5 minutes and were eating in about 10.
I love the different, unique pizza flavors that they have. For example, I had a chicken parmesan pizza- which was DELICIOUS!
There's ton of dining space inside the store- contrary to what it looks like from the outside. There is a little bit of dining space outside but it is quite limited due to the side of the sidewalk outside of the store. -

You can't get any more tampa than Eddie and Sams. The place is always packed (because it's the best) but it has a pretty quick turnaround time. They are not shy to experiment with their topics either!
If you want to be really bad, I recommend the lasagna pizza.... -

Very cool spot. Fast and friendly service. You pick out your pizza from the glass case that's right in front of you. You can buy a ridiculously huge slice. Sit inside ur outside on the sidewalk tables. Pizza is very good. Lots of pies to choose from.
It's a FL pie and a very good one. It's not NY pizza. Makes me nuts these pizza places feel they need to say NY. Again it's a very good FL pizza. Be a proud Floridian and lose the NY
